 AKIE STARBOY AND HYPERS KIDS AFRICA Before Akie Starboy joining HYPERS KIDS AFRICA her was learning music in various brass bands, these included Rainbow house of Hope Uganda, M-lisada Brass Banda and St.Peter’s Brass band! We was mainly doing acrobatics, learning base drum and trumpet. At the age of 10years he was among the best students of acrobatics and gymnastics. But after joining Hypers kids Africa, hypers was mainly doing Afro and creative dance. Since the documentaries and the book came out, I have attended three different colleges, searching for the one that fits me best. I’m not living a Ghetto Life but I’m still living in the ghetto (when I’m not at school), which doesn’t bother me at all, even though there are rats and roaches still crawl the wall. My coach has been doing the same. Some people might think, “Oh he’s a terrible coach,” but a coach who loves his kids as much as mine does is the best coach you can have.
